Michael Catchpool did a degree in Drama, TV and Theatre studies and then trained as a teacher. After teaching in several schools, and a spell as Headteacher, he is now the Primary Adviser for English and Drama for Hertfordshire LEA. He is married with two children. Victoria Ball graduated from Falmouth College of Arts, with a first class BA Hons in Illustration. She soon went on to accept her first commission for The Children's Company, through which she illustrated the BAFTA-award-winning children's series 'Ripley and Scuff' for Children's TV. This will be her first book for Gullane Children's Books.
