Dr Joel Hayward is a former Senior Lecturer who abandoned academia to pursue his goal of living a rewarding, creative and less stressful life. He has written several works of biography, history and analysis, but now concentrates on poetry and fiction. His works have been translated into many languages, including German, Russian, Spanish and Serbian. He lives with his family in Palmerston North.
