Product Information

Emma Dodd wields words as creatively as she does her paintbrush in I Don't Want a Posh Dog (Orchard, GBP10.99). 'I don't want a patterned dog. A jump-up-and-flatten dog/ I don't want a handbag dog. A tail-not-meant-to-wag dog.' With bouncing text and illustrations that bound off the page, this should win every award going. Ages 2-5. -- The Telegraph

Emma Dodd studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Saint Martin's School of Art, London. Since qualifying in 1992 she has worked as an illustrator from her studio in Surrey, England. When not working, Emma and her family spend as much time as they can near the coast, surfing and walking. She has worked on many books, including the popular "Amazing Baby" series 'Templar Publishing'. The first book she wrote and illustrated herself, "What Pet to Get?" 'Templar Publishing' was shortlisted for the 2006 Early Years Awards. Emma's books for Orchard have proved an instant hit and her vibrant illustrations and funny storytelling delight children the world over.
