Shannon Sovndal, is the team physician for the Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda professional cycling team and works at the General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) for the University of Colorado. He attended medical school at Columbia University in New York City and completed his residency at Stanford University. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the American College of Emergency Medicine.
