About the author(s)
James McNeill: James McNeill has been practising acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine for 18 years. He runs a busy acupuncture practice with his partner Jackie Kiddle in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. He completed a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Sydney in 1986, which included hospital internship training in Hangzhou, China. He lives in New Zealand and has three young children.
David Bell: After studying basic Shiatsu training at Shiatsu Australia Educational Services, David completed a Diploma of Zen Shiatsu at Shiatsu College Aotearoa. He also studied for another three years with Maggie Blake of Zen Shiatsu New Zealand and attended intensive live-in courses with Sonia Moriceau of Healing Shiatsu. After practicing Zen Shiatsu in Napier, New Zealand, David returned to Melbourne where he continues to study oriental philosophy and now divides his time between the film industry and writing.
