Google Eyes (Kiwi Bites)

Author(s): Diana Noonan & Keith Olsen

Young Adult Fiction

AJ is a hoarder in the true sense of the word. In fact, you can hardly get into his bedroom for all his treasures (or 'junk', as his mother would say). The main things AJ likes to collect are books - he has hundreds of them! One day, while rummaging at a garage sale, AJ stumbles upon a very interesting looking book, covered in dust and filled with recipes - all kinds of recipes, from how to make jam to removing grass stains. But AJ can't believe his eyes when he turns a page to discover a recipe for mind-reading. Just imagine what fun he could have with that kind of ability! After refining his mind-reading skills on his pet cat, Snooks, AJ sets forth to find out what his family, friends and neighbours are all thinking. What follows is a whole lot of fun and mischief for AJ.
