Katharine Holabird is a freelance writer. She went to Bennington College in Vermont and then spent three years as a journalist in Italy, before moving to England, where she has lived ever since. Helen Craig is one of the UK's most successful children's illustrators. She became an apprentice photographer aged 16 and went on to set up her own studio. Helen has illustrated over 60 children's books and they have been translated into many languages.
