Quinn of the Valley by Charger Morrison. When Quinn moved to the Wanganui River valley he was driving a Model A Ford that had been converted into a small truck and everything he owned was loaded on the back. There was quite a bit of space left over. He moved onto a long since abandoned property that had defeated many men before him, but with a lot of hard work turned it into one of the most profitable places in the district.
