Known around the world for his work, Michael Moore was born in Flint Michigan, where he became involved in student politics and went on to make the groundbreaking documentary Roger & Me, which exposed how big business had ruined his home town.
His next film, Bowling for Columbine, won an Oscar and his latest documentary, Fahrenheit 9/11, won the Palme d'Or at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival.
