Born in New Zealand, Sarah Quigley holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford. She has been the recipient of the Buddle Findlay Sargeson Fellowship, and in 2000-2001 won the Inaugural CNZ/ DAAD Berlin Writer's Residency. During this time she was also a Fellow at the British Council Cambridge Literature Seminar. She lives in Berlin.
