Lara Morgan grew up in the hills outside Perth, Western Australia, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English. In between satisfying her travel addiction, she has worked as a waitress, arts project manager and editor. In 2004 she won the Australian Women's Weekly Short Story competition and in 2005 had a short story published in Girl's Night In 4 under the name Lara Martin. Writing primarily fantasy and science fiction, Lara is currently working on the second book in The Twins of Saranthium trilogy. She lives in a seaside town in Western Australia.
