Handmade Bookbinding Techniques

Author(s): Josep Cambras Riu

Crafts

This is a handy guide to a wide variety of bindings (books, boxes etc.) and how to do them, and the decorative techniques (marbling, printing etc.) that can be used to embellish them. The book is filled with illustrated step-by-step sequences showing how to make the various bindings and lots of finished pieces which will inspire the maker. The book is aimed at the beginner but it would also be a useful reference for the more experienced craft person. First published in Spanish 2006; this translation 2007.
