Children Fiction

"Odd One Out" is part of the "Siti's Sisters Series", a series of six fiction designed to have particular appeal to girls. Each story has around 1200-1500 words and the books are ideal for reluctant readers. The books are designed to appeal to girls aged 10-14 with a reading age of 7-8 years. It's Donna's birthday in a few days, but her parents just can't afford to throw her a big bash. To make matters worse, people are acting strangely around her. Her two older sisters don't want to come to her childish party, and the Sisters don't seem to want to talk about her birthday at all! Has Donna done something wrong?
