Jonathan Meres was a stand-up comedian for 10 years and is now a writer and actor. Once known as Johnny Immaterial, he won the Time Out Award for comedy. His books include Yo Diary! for teenagers, which he also adapted and starred in for Children's BBC. He lives in Edinburgh.
