Megan McDonald grew up in Pennsylvania, USA, the youngest of five girls. She says that most of the stories about Judy Moody came out of growing up with four older sisters. She now lives in California with her husband. Peter H. Reynolds directs a production company, creating innovative, animated, award-winning materials for the educational market-place. He lives in Massachusetts.
