Marie-Louise Gay is an outstanding artist and children's author. She is the recipient of the Governor General's Award (Canada) as well as numerous other prizes. She lives with her family in Montreal, Canada. Marie-Louise Gay has written many books and illustrated even more, most published originally in Canada by Stoddart, including Rabbit Blue, Mademoiselle Moon, Willy Nilly, Fat Charlie's Circus, Angel and the Polar Bear, Rainy Day Magic, Moonbeam on a Cat's Ear.
