A Triple Treat of Horrid Henry

Author(s): Francesca Simon

Children Fiction

Horrid Henry creates havoc wherever he goes. To his well meaning parents and to every adult whose path he crosses, he is the ultimate nightmare child. His naughtiness is of the kind all children secretly admire and few dare to aspire to. He doesn't always mean to be bad, but the best laid plans have a habit of going wrong and you can't help sympathizing with anyone who has a little brother like Perfect Peter ... Horrid Henry is one of the great characters to emerge in the last few years and Francesca Simon's series is a brilliant addition to the canon of storybooks everyone loves.

Francesca Simon spent her childhood on the beach in California, and then went to Yale and Oxford Universities to study medieval history and literature. She now lives in London with her English husband, Martin, and their son, Joshua. When she is not writing books she is doing theatre and restaurant reviews or chasing after her Tibetan Spaniel, Shanti. Tony Ross is one of the most popular and successful of all children's illustrators, with many picture books to his name as well as line drawings for many fiction titles.
