Mr Pusskins, Sam's first hilarious book for Orchard, won the Booktrust Early Years Award for Best Pre-School Book, was a New York Times Bestseller and was shortlisted for the V&A Illustration Award and Sheffield Book Prize. The hilarious Mr Pusskins and Little Whiskers followed, introducing the super-pesky Little Whiskers character and the wickedly funny Mr Pusskins Best in Show is the latest picture book. Sam is also the creator of the brilliant Whoops-a-Daisy World series of books for Orchard, which started with Doctor Miaow's Big Emergency and followed with the heroic Chief Rhino to the Rescue. Sam has written and illustrated a number of novelty books including What Colour Are Your Knickers? for Gullane, and the Sainsbury's Books for Babies Award winner, Happy Dog, Sad Dog for Little Tiger Press. Sam lives in Brighton.
