Dr. Michio Kaku is a theoretical physicist and the co-founder of string field theory (a branch of string theory), and continues Einstein's search to unite the four fundamental forces of nature into one unified theory. He is also the New York Times bestselling author of seven books, most recently, Physics of the Future: How Science Will Shape Human Destiny and Our Daily Lives by the Year 2100. He has been featured throughout the media, on television-Discovery, BBC, ABC, CBS, Science Channel, CNN and elsewhere - in popular science publications such as Discover, Wired and New Scientist, in documentaries, including Me and Isaac Newton, and he hosted many of his own programs, including a series on time for the BBC. In addition, he hosts two weekly radio programs-Science Fantastic and Explorations in Science-broadcast each week on WBAI in New York City. Kaku holds the Henry Semat Chair and Professorship in theoretical physics at the City College of New York, where he has taught for over twenty-five years. He has also been a visiting professor at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, as well as New York University.
