The Greedy Triangle

A triangle, dissatisfied with its shape, goes to a shapeshifter to be changed to a quadrilateral. The shape changes to a pentagon, then a hexagon, a heptagon, and so on, finally learning that being a triangle is best after all. Used in Math By All Means: Geometry, Grades 3-4 and Math and Literature, Book Two.
