Great-grandson to Latvian immigrants, Ben Redlich was born in Brisbane, Australia, in 1977. Much of his childhood was spent doing things requiring subsequent tetanus shots. He spent the rest of his time watching cartoons, reading MAD, and doodling. Ben continues to doodle for a living.
