Author description

Jan Fearnley is the award-winning author-illustrator of Mr Wolf's Pancakes, Harry and the Jaggedy Daggers and Milo Armadillo among many others. Her picture book Just Like You was read at the White House! She was born in South Shields, then moved to London where she lived for many years. Jan now lives in the French countryside with her writer husband Paul, two cheeky donkeys, five irrepressible rescued goats, who call themselves 'The Horn Section', two blousy Limousin hens, five naughty cats -and any other waif and stray who appears at the kitchen door. Edgar and the Sausage Inspector is Jan's first picture book with Nosy Crow. The real Edgar sleeps on a cushion on Jan's drawing table, and he thinks it's only right that Nosy Crow are making a story about him.
