Author: Alison Maloney lives in Kent and is a journalist and author.As well as a long stint on the Sunday Post as a film critic and feature writer, she also worked as a children's book editor for several years. Alison lives with her husband and two children in Wrotham, Kent.

Illustrator: Antonia Woodward has been interested in book-making and illustration since she was a child and studied illustration at college. She uses a combination of collage and painting in her artwork. She lives in Lincoln with her husband.
