Description

Ten years' worth of aerial photography have given photographer David Wall a unique viewpoint on New Zealand, and this compact hardback provides the perfect souvenir of the South Island, featuring a selection of his best shots from the Marlborough Sounds to Stewart Island. The North Island is presented in a companion volume; both have captions and an introduction by Auckland writer Alison Dench.

Author description

Based in Dunedin, David Wall is a freelance photographer and travel writer with international photographic experience, including assignments for Lonely Planet guide books and New Zealand Adventure magazine. David has published ten books with New Holland, including Christchurch and Beyond, New Zealand in Colour, New Zealand through the Seasons and New Zealand from Above (from which these photographs have been selected). Alison Dench has written a number of titles for New Holland including the bestselling Walking the Waitakere Ranges and, more recently, Auckland's Top Spots with photographer Bob McCree.
