Joy Chambers utilised her love of history by beginning to write historical novels during her successful acting career in Australia. Over a dozen years on she retains her enthusiasm for storytelling and research and combines her writing along with her business life as chairman of a group of companies along with her husband. Joy says, 'My life is in the entertainment business. A skilfully written book can be read on many levels but it should always entertain...I attempt to do that.'
