Author descriptionMelissa Chiu is Curator of Contemporary Asian and Asian American Art at Asia Society Museum in New York. She was previously the Founding Director of the Asia Australia Arts Centre in Sydney. Ngahiraka Mason is Indigenous Curator, Maori Art at Auckland Art Gallery/Toi o Tamaki in New Zealand. She is co-curator of the Auckland Triennial in 2004. Dr. Karen Stevenson is Senior Lecturer at the School of Fine Arts, University of Canterbury, New Zealand. She has published extensively on Pacific art and organized the New Zealand conference 'Repositioning Pacific Arts: Artists, Objects, Histories' in 2003. Caroline Vercoe is Lecturer in Art History at Auckland University in New Zealand, specializing in Pacific art and postcolonial theory. |
