Having grown up in a foodie household, Simon Holst has inherited a passion for food and cooking. He has co-authored over 30 cookbooks with his mother Alison, and this is his seventh 'solo' book.
In addition to books, he contributes to various New Zealand newspapers and magazines, performs 'live' cooking demonstrations, and, since 2008, Simon has appeared regularly on TVNZ's "Good Morning" Show. The general focus of his work is producing practical and delicious family food with a minimum of fuss.
