Yann Arthus-Bertrand is the author of more than forty books, including the international bestseller The Earth from the Air, which has sold more than three million copies. He is the founder of the agency Altitude, and in 2005, the GoodPlanet Foundation, which works to promote awareness about environmental issues. He also has directed a series of documentaries based on The Earth from the Air and the film Home about the environmental challenges facing our planet.


Brian Skerry is an American photographer famous for his underwater shots who has spent more than ten thousand hours shooting underwater. He began collaborating with National Geographic in 1998. Skerry has also worked on assignment for or had images featured in magazines such as Sports Illustrated, BBC Wildlife, GEO, Smithsonian, Esquire, Audubon and Men’s Journal, as well as countless other publications worldwide. He is the author of the book Ocean Soul.
