Description

The Pitt Street Pirates are out on a treasure hunt, with their trusty parrot-cat Minnie. Top comedy by the author of Horrible Histories. Roger Redbeard is determined to be a pirate. And with his friends Ellie and Sniffle (not to mention Minnie the cat) he seems well on his way to working out the clues to Ruby Rose's treasure hunt. But can they find the right treasure? An adventure not to be missed! With a reading age of 7, it is particularly suitable for dyslexic, reluctant and struggling readers.

Author description

Terry Deary is the actor, television presenter and author who is most famed for his Horrible Histories series. He was voted Outstanding Children's Non-Fiction Author of the 20th Century, but luckily for us (and his readers) he's very good at writing fictional stories for us to read too! Despite a fondness for the bagpipes, Terry Deary is a much-loved author who brings words alive for children of all ages with his puns, jokes and funny stories. He lives in Durham.
