Author description

Hetty Verolme was born in Belgium and in 1943 was sent to the Nazi concentration camp of Bergen-Belsen. After surviving she emigrated to Australia and was appointed to the Australian Ethnic Affairs Council. She is the author of "The Children's House of Belsen."
