Josh Lacey is the author of many books for children including The Island of Thieves, Bearkeeper, The Dragonsitter and the Grk series. He has worked as a journalist and written one book for adults, God is Brazilian. His first book for children, A Dog Called Grk, was shortlisted for the Branford Boase Award. Josh lives in London with his wife and daughters. Garry Parsons (Illustrator) Garry Parsons studied Fine Art at Brighton College and after that he went on to study Illustration. He is a talented illustrator, whose work has captured the imaginations of children all over the UK. Billy's Bucket won the 2004 Children's Book Award. Krong! was his first book as an author/illustrator. Krong! has been shortlisted for the Stockport School's Book Award 2006 and was the winner of the Perth and Kinross Picture Book Award 2006. Garry has recently worked with Stephen and Lucy Hawking, Jeanne Willis, Diana Kimpton and author duo, Dougie Poynter and Tom Fletcher.
