Ken Ring's Weather Almanac 2015

Author(s): Ken Ring

NZ Non Fiction

A whole year's weather forecasts in one place! The bestselling weather guide New Zealanders can't afford to be without. Farmers, fishermen, gardeners, skiers, event planners, and anyone who works outdoors or just wants to know what the weather is going to do, cannot be without Ken Ring's weather almanac for 2015. Ken's indispensible almanac has day-per-page forecasts including gardening advice and moon position information, as well as isobaric, rain potential and frost/snow maps, likely wind activity and, for the gardener, biodynamic planting guides. For the fisherman, there are daily best bite times and a rating from poor to excellent. 70 graphs showing minimum temperatures mapped against forecast rain will help farmers and others more accurately predict severe weather. There is also a ski season summary. The 2015 almanac has regional rain summaries in table form so that readers can estimate at a glance which months may be wetter or drier when planning ahead. Ken's sometimes controversial method of predicting weather by the cycles of the moon has attracted a wide following and has an amazingly high strike rate for reliability, as evidenced by the many endorsements from users.
