Guide Rangi

For more than forty years Guide Rangi guided tourists, including many of the rich and famous, around the geysers and hotpools of Whakarewarewa. She became very popular and well known for her knowledge, friendliness and sense of humour. These are stories of 30 of New Zealand's most famous people including their childhood and education, the paths that led to the achievements for which they became well known and their influence upon New Zealand's history and culture.
