This book is a Finalist in the Picture Book Category, New Zealand Post Children's Book Awards 2010.
All the farmyard animals - the jersey cow, the collie, bantam hens, sheep and lambs, ducks, kune kune, and the ginger cat - come to the cowshed door. They all come mooing, baaing, clucking, barking, quacking and meowing and they all come bearing gifts, true kiwi gifts like a rugby ball, a pavlova, jandals, a Kiwi toy. And who do you think they saw? Little Baby Jesus by the cowshed door.
The classic Christmas story is given a New Zealand twist in this warm and evocative retelling, with gorgeous illustrations by Gavin Bishop.
First published October 2009.

Kapai turns 10 in 2005 and this is a special birthday edition bumper book, celebrating kiwiana, Christmas and Kapai and his mates. It is longer than the previous books - 48 rather than 32 pages Kapai and his mates set off on a camping holiday up North. They drive up Ninety Mile beach, visit Cape Reinga and then go camping at the DoC campsite nearby. It features kiwiana like the beach, pohutukawa, bbq, boogie boarding, fishing off the rocks etc. Rats and stoats raid the campground and the DoC ranger rescues Kapai - giving the book a strong conservation message. It ends with all Kapai's old mates (Gooney etc) coming to a Christmas lunch picnic on the beach. They give each other Christmas presents of greenstone, kete, bone carving, jandals etc.
